Adult Critical Care

There are four adult critical care units, three on Parnassus campus and one at Mt. Zion.

At Parnassus, there are:

• 24 general ICU beds (Medicine/Surgery ICU)
• 16 Intensive Cardiac Care beds
• and 21 Neurological Intensive Care Unit beds.

The 7 beds on Mt. Zion campus are devoted to critically ill surgical and surgical oncology patients (Adult Surgical Oncological ICU).
