Perioperative Services offers state-of -the-art surgical technology and a level of commitment that comes together to create an exceptional experience for patients and professionals alike. At all three sites; Moffit-Long, Ambulatory Care Center and Mount Zion, you will find patient-centered care provided by a collaborative team of perioperative professionals. Nurses have an opportunity to participate in innovative perioperative technology and the advancement of patient care through ongoing education, research and quality improvement activities.
Taken together, more than 21,000 surgeries are performed annually at all three sites. Physicians and hospitals in the Unites States and throughout the world refer patients here for the advanced surgical technology that we provide in a broad range of specialties including: Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Transplant (liver, renal, pancreas, heart and lung), Pediatrics, Fetal Surgery, Otolaryngology, Head & Neck, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Oral Surgery, Vascular, General, Dermatology, Urology, Gynecology, and Thoracic. In addition, our dynamic and busy Endoscopy Centers offer diagnostic and interventional procedures for inpatients and outpatients.
