Courses Signup Information
On-line Registration
You may reserve a space in class on-line, however we
strongly encourage advance payment in order to take
advantage of our “early bird” rates.
Class Registration forms are also available in the Nursing Office, room U-107, at the 5N Nurses’ Station at Mt. Zion, or on page 12 of this catalog. They may also be printed from our website. Completed forms and payment may be deposited in the Nursing Office Class Registration Drop Box or sent via campus mail to Box 0210 (for UCSF employees). If you are not employed by UCSF Department of Nursing, please provide your license number in order to complete registration requirements for receiving continuing education credit.

Payment Methods
- Cash or check (payable to “UC Regents”)
- Visa, Master Card or American Express - You may enter your credit card information on our secure online registration page, or bring your credit card to Nursing Education for processing or fax/call our office with the necessary information.
- Manager authorization for recharge to unit cost center (UCSF staff only).
- Voucher for complimentary CEUs to recognize professional contributions such as teaching classes, precepting, and outstanding leadership (UCSF staff only—see your manager or educator for details).
Continuing Education
Credit Courses as indicated are provider approved for Continuing
Education Credit by the California Board of Registered Nursing
(provider #CEP 12980). Certificates are issued upon completion of the
course and registration requirements.
Course Location
Unless otherwise specified, all courses are held at the Medical
Center of the University of California, San Francisco. Assigned
classroom information may be obtained by checking our website, by
calling (415) 353-1993, or by checking the course offering binder in
the Nursing Office.
Refunds and Cancellations
A full refund will be issued for cancellations at least 48 hours
in advance. (See course descriptions for classes with other
restrictions).
The instructor may cancel a class for insufficient registration two business days before the class. All registrants will be notified by phone and refunds will be issued.
Walk-Ins/Late
Registration Unregistered attendees cannot be assured of class space, handouts,
or notification of room changes or cancellations. Advance
registration is strongly advised.
