ENVIRONMENT OF CARE - Introduction

Environment of Care refers to the setting in which care is provided including buildings, equipment, and people. The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (OEH&S) and the Medical Center Safety Officer, Robert Hunn, oversee the many activities which constitute the seven areas of the Environment of Care Program to help maintain safe conditions for patients, visitors and employees.

One key responsibility of the Safety Officer is collecting information about deficiencies in the environment and opportunities for improvement.
