PREPARE Program at Moffitt-Long
Overview
The PREPARE Program is an outpatient pre-operative clinic located in rooms L169 and L170 on the first floor of Long Hospital. It is managed by the Department of Nursing in collaboration with the Department of Anesthesia (http://anesthesia.ucsf.edu/mainpage.html). The PREPARE staff medically screens patients who will require anesthesia for surgical, radiological and diagnostic procedures.
To learn more about your anesthesia and pain management options before your Prepare visit we recommend the Prepare for Surgery workshop (http://www.ucsf.edu/ocim/clinical/groupease.html). This free workshop is led by a team of UCSF experts from anesthesia, pain management and integrative medicine.
