Ingrid has taken the initiative on multiple occasions to advocate for our high-risk patients, babies and mothers. Ingrid is a leader on our unit by being the charge nurse or resource nurse. Ingrid advocates for patients as charge nurse by organizing interdisciplinary huddles and assists with the complex care for our high-risk patients.

Adrian is committed to improved patient care through collaboration with nursing staff to improve the care of patients, developing and enhancing a culture of collaborative interdisciplinary care, and fostering communication with nursing to benefit patient care.

Chrys is passionate about giving back to the community. This is illustrated in Chrys' continued work with community programs and the BCH Social Worker group. Chrys continues to work with these groups to facilitate and coordinate Thanksgiving meals and Christmas gifts making it a reality for patients and families in need.

Karen connects with patients and has provided excellent care for 30 years here at UCSF Health. Karen's connections with patients and their families last for years beyond their time on the unit. When patients come visit the unit after 10, 15, 20 years, they recognize Karen and recall the wonderful care they received.
